Villa Balbianello Wedding Lake Como Photographer

Villa Balbianello is an exclusive place to get married.
Lake Como offers tons of different and stunning places that can leave you breathless, but few are so stunning, full of history and romantic as Villa Balbianello.
If it is true that every wedding is different from another because different are the people who get married, it is also true that every Villa Balbianello wedding  has something extra: an hypnotic view of the lake that can be enjoyed from its magnificent gardens turn everything into a fairy tale.
As a wedding photographer I have been there several times, but often I find myself thinking how a foreign tourist can experience such beauty.

Jamie and Marie came from England and have been welcomed here by the rain on the lake: as often happens, the atmosphere has become rarefied and melancholy, one of the most fascinating mood of many Villa Balbianello wedding.
Marie has chosen to get ready with her daughter and bridesmaids at the Gran Hotel Tremezzo: it is always fascinating to shoot the joy, intimacy and expectations that characterize the getting ready of the the bride.

Jamie has chosen a lake view room at Abergo Lenno to get dressed with his best man and friends.
The groom’s getting ready are always faster and more relaxed than those of the bride: in this case Jamie ate a pizza and drank a bier before taking the boat to get to Villa Balbianello.

The ceremony took place at Loggia Durini: the fantastic view of the lake, framed by the mighty columns decorated with an ancient ficus, make this place one of the most romantic of the entire Como lake.

After a short walk to take some pictures, the wedding moved to the Lido di Lenno. Here the guests took an aperitif on the small beach and celebrated until nightfall.
