I never thought it was possible to get married in an old tuna factory (and in particular the stunning Tonnara di Scopello), but I discoverd it was pobbible thanks to Alessia of White Emotion, who organized everything in a very special way.
Jan and Allison wanted an intimate wedding with a few friends and a very few relatives.
Their perfect wedding day started in a sunny afternoon at the private small lovely beach of la Tonnara, followed by a short symbolic ceremony.
And what about the romantic dinner in the small square just in front of the old church?
Candle lights for the speeches, laughs and good Sicilian food.
No one would have missed the wedding party after the cake cutting by the sea.
I told a lot of wedding stories, but in this case I felt particulary lucky with such an intimate celebration framed by history, colours, and flavours.
Thank you to Veronica of Roncaglione Wedding Photographers for telling with me this story.
The afternoon started drinking some spritz on the private beach of the Tonnara.
The getting ready moments were really fast: no make up artist or hair design were required….just a few friends. The symbolic ceremony took place in the small church right in the courtyard of the Tonnara.
Once the party started, a little walk to better enjoy the Sicilian atmosphere. Drop me a line if you enjoyed this wedding Sicily Tonnara Scopello.
